Complete Beginners
Learning to ride a bike isn't easy but we make it enjoyable. We start with a balance bike or adapted bike . The First session helps the participant to balance and when they're ready I place one or both pedals for them to learn to cycle At the end of the course the participant should be able to learn to balance get on and off their bike, Start and stop , steer and able to use the brakes effectively. The majority of participants leave the course being able to ride a bike within three 45 mins sessions ​
'Eva's Pedal Power is led by Eva, a qualified and experienced cycling instructor with over 8 years of experience teaching both children and adults. She has successfully taught over 200 individuals how to cycle, ranging from complete beginners to seasoned cyclists wanting to enhance their road skills, in collaboration with organizations like CyclingUK. Eva is helping individuals experience the joy and freedom that cycling offers. Whether you're interested in exploring the stunning landscapes of Shropshire and beyond, commuting to work in a healthy and sustainable manner, or simply getting active.. At Eva's Pedal Power, lessons are customized to meet your needs, equipping you with the confidence, skills, and knowledge for safe, independent riding. From learning to balance and pedal for the first time to junctions, roundabouts, and road positioning, Eva will support you every pedal of the way.
